Greenliant Systems and Macnica Sign Distribution Agreement for South America
SANTA CLARA, CALIF. – MARCH 12, 2013 – Greenliant Systems, a leader in energy-efficient, solid state storage products, has appointed Macnica DHW Ltda to distribute its NANDrive™ embedded solid state drive (SSD), NAND controller and specialty flash memory products across South America. This distribution agreement marks the expansion of Greenliant’s technical sales and support network for South American customers.
“The increase of infrastructure investments in South America—especially in Brazil with the World Cup in 2014 and Olympics in 2016—show there is strong growth potential for high reliability products such as NANDrive solid state drives,” said Fabio Petrassem Sousa, president of Macnica DHW. “The addition of Greenliant’s NANDrive and specialty flash memory products to the Macnica DHW line card enables us to offer long-life, secure storage solutions to our communications, industrial and automotive customers.”
“With the acceleration of embedded system designs in South America, we are experiencing interest from a wide range of customers that can benefit from Greenliant’s leading portfolio of products,” said Arthur Kroyan, vice president, business development and marketing, Greenliant Systems. “The partnership with Macnica DHW boosts Greenliant’s robust sales channel with engineering design resources and demand creation focused on South America.”
